This 1-class workshop is designed to introduce students to castanet playing as part of flamenco dance. Students should have experience doing basic braceo, marcajes and footwork (Beginner to Advanced Beginner level), since we will practice dancing with our castanets from Day 1! We will cover all the basics you need to join the Sunday Castanet class, include basic playing position, technique exercises, and how to practice. Students may bring their own castanets or contact the teacher to buy a pair. Don’t miss this essential class!
You will be registered after the first class to the rest of the 5 weeks.
